    u torent port forwarding

    This is a discussion on u torent port forwarding within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; i have read the posts on p/forwarding and applied them to the netgear router.HOWEVER the posts SAY THE PC NEEDS ...

      u torent port forwarding

      i have read the posts on p/forwarding and applied them to the netgear router.HOWEVER the posts SAY THE PC NEEDS A STATIC IP ,the router is set up for DHCP .when i assign a static it then will not connect to the net ?? help please .
      I have three pc,s connected and use one of them for u torrent

      ps if your having problems with your network adaptor kill wcz ,worked for me

      @jonlanewilliams - if you use static IPs then you need to turn off DHCP. However, if you would like to keep DHCP then you can use a feature the router has called address reservation (you'll find it in LAN IP setup). With this you can ensure that any particular PC is always given the same IP address which will work fine for port forwarding.
