      I waited till my old ISP connection stopped working and then connected up my Sky router and I was away

      My date was the 5th Dec and I was still on my old connection up to midnight of that day. In the morning I tried to get online and the 'unable to find page .....' came up, so I knew I had been swapped over.

      It appears that BT work their magic in the early hours.

      Well really the router is Plug&Play, You should only need to Swap the ethernet cable from your current router/modem to the Sky one!

      You could install the McAfee anti-virus when you want!

      When actually connecting the router up e.g;
      RJ11 Cable,
      Power Adaptop,
      I advise you do that tomorrow and wait for the magic "i" light to switch on?

      Like Tim1964 advised, Your connection date is - Upto the Midnight of the date stated on the Activation Date Letter you should have recieved!
