      Cant Set up home networking

      Hello to all
      After i was sent a new router by SKY becouse it was faulty. im now having diffrent problmes with this new one too.
      I cant set up home networking.
      pc is 192.168.0.2
      laptop is 192.168.0.5 (wireless)
      and the network name is the same on both.
      i can ping from pc to laptop but cannot ping from the laptop to pc.

      any help would be appreciated.

      I dont know if this will solve the PING issue

      But are both of the devices on the same network group? e.g, WORK or MSHOME?

      Is there a firewall on the Laptop you could try disabling just to see?

      Remember that the WEB/WPA security code will need setting up for that as the new router on your laptop.

      That sounds like a firewall issue on the PC. Even the standard windows one doesn't allow pings.
