      Port forwarding not working

I have just been connected around 24hours ago. I have internet access, so have now turned to setting up my Sky Router. I used to be on Freeserve, and had a Netgear router, so I kind of know what to do ish. I used to be able to connect from work to my home Server using Remote Desktop (Terminal Services), VNC, also view my email via Outlook Web Access. I have opened all the ports, nothing, opened only the port necessary, nothing. I have double checked the ports open on the old router and it matches the Sky router. What ever I do, I can not get to my server at home. nothing has change on my server, expect installing a Sky Broadband router. I can't even remote manage the router, it just comes back with pages not displayed. I use Dynamic DNS, so I know I'm using the right IP address. I have tried connecting via Dynamic DNS and using the allocated IP address. I phoned Sky and they said you can not connect via another PC on another site? But this forum is full of people taking about port forwarding, please can anyone help? I know, I have set it up right. Happy to share a print screen with anyone, if they want to check what I have done. Also does anyone know what DNS Sky use?

I think Sky`s DNS servers are either 212.135.1.36 or 195.40.1.36

      Re: Port forwarding not working

Port forwarding seems to work fine for me and always has done since I installed the Sky router. I didn't do anything special to get it going. I just set up an account on dyndns.org, entered my details on the Dynamic DNS page on the router and then finally set up port forwarding for the port I wanted on the Firewall Rules page. It all just works.

What are you having problems with?
