      MSN/Windows Live Messenger Issues suddenly

I suddenly don't seem to be able to connect to MSN/Windows/Live Messenger this evening from inside my network. I've tried from two PC's and a Mac - no luck, though friends are telling me they're connected just fine. I haven't had any issues connecting to other sites and/or messenger services (Yahoo, Google).

      Is anyone else seeing similar?

      Cheers,

      Tom

      Check Firewall

Sometimes disconnecting the Firewall helps. or letting the firewall know that it must let MSN use the net

And sometimes it's just MSN playing up....

Oh dear it is 'end of the world' syndrome again as she keeps experiencing disconnection problems with the lovely MSN.Is this purely an MSN issue?

Any ideas for trying to solve this problem apart from those already mentioned? What's the easiest way of letting the firewall know that you want MSN to use the net?

Aside from unticking it in the exceptions table which I don't fancy doing as surely this would leave your system well open.

MSN is very problematic recently, as more and more people sign up and use for Christmas I bet.

I am not even on Sky yet and am suffering the same problems
