    bt checker says complete but no broadband ?

      bt checker says complete but no broadband ?

      it seems the bt checker says:

      Placed 10 Dec 2006
      Description CHANGE
      Appointment No date yet
      Date due 20 Dec 2006
      Status Order completed
      Last update 20 Dec 2006
      Notes Your order has been completed.

      Items in this order

      PROVIDE LLU LINE SHARE PSTN

      connected router up to ethernet and phone line in.... result.....nothing! router just shows connecting and thats it!

      sky test says no connection detected.

      do you have to install any software from the cd ?

      Just like to know the link to BT CHECKER as I am also waiting for my line to be activated soon…and if BT CHECKER is a useful tool/link to check line activation status, it may be worth adding the link here!

      To find your order status you have to create a at home account at Welcome to bt.com
      Once you created your at home account log out .Click on small & medium business then track an order ,track your land line order,log in with your at home username and password,voila.

      What is the internet light doing on the router?

      Also, have you tried switching the router off for a few seconds and then back on?

      Finally, try unplugging all your phone equipment and just leaving the router connected, (via a filter.)

      Good luck! (You do not need to use the CD)

      In my experience as soon as BT "Complete the order" you should away with Sky BB.

      as above.... the 20th on the letter is the activation date, going to try it again and change a few things.

      no light comes on where the 'tick' led is just power and ethernet.
