      router reboot?

      Hi People,

This may sound like a stupid question, it probably is, but everytime my connections freezes (normally after 16 minutes but thats another story) i always reboot it by taking the power cord out and then put it back it again. Should i do it this way or by using the sky router page or does that set the router back to its default settings or something.

      Thanks

Have you tried turning the UPnP off?

Leave it on 24 hours a day, won't do any harm apart from the environment

and as for the reboot, do you use the reboot link in the router settings page?

I do, if it locks up you can always reset it by pressing a pen into the little hole on the back, but you need to do this for at least 10 seconds, and will lose any changes you have made.

The most common problem is the UPnP one, if you have disabled this hopefully thats it for you
