yep. definately. i know exactly what you mean by the master socket.
i think they suspect there may be some wiring issues on the external line so theyve just capped it.
actually, having read some other threads i think its just dawned on me that they may have switched me off adsl2.
can you tell in the router settings?

no need, callback this morning confirmed they had switched me to adsl, they have now switched it back to adsl2 and increased the speed to 4MB.
every person i talk to at sky gives a different tale!!!!
