      From Connect to MAX

      All,

First of all, if this has already been explained, I'm sorry! I have done a search and cannot for the life of me find the answer. Work Christmas party yesterday, you see....

Anyway, my exchange (Jarrow) was LLU-enabled yesterday. I want to be upgraded to MAX as soon as possible.

Is there a number other than Tech Support I can ring to get this done? Also, will I be transferred to Mid automatically, or do I need to ring about that at all.

      * Trembling with excitement..... *

      Thanks.

My understanding is that people have had very different experiences and outcomes. It seems to depend on who you speak to. If you contact them I think you'll either be told "we'll let you know" or "I'll do it now for you".

If it were me I'd phone and if I got the first response I'd phone again

OK both, thanks for the info.

As this seems to be an issue, I will post back when I get sorted, as it may just help someone else in the future.

      Cheers both

Just rang them. Lady said "I've done it now". I said "So it'll be working when I get home" and she said "Yes".

I'm a bit dubious whether they could do it so quickly (can they?) but let's wait and see...

      Fingers crossed.....

      Sounds improbable.

As far as I'm aware, Connect will be running on BT equipment at the exchange and Max would be running on Sky's. Surely this would need a physical visit to the exchange?

      Hopefully that's not the case

I was thinking along those lines as well. I can't imagine the flick of a switch or typing of a command could magically do it.

Well I live in hope, and will report back...

spose they could be confused and thought u were upgrading from the lower two packages which from my understanding is a simple change on thier systems as opposed to an exchange visit which connect-to-max would imply

That's a thought. I may have started something here!

Unless they switched everyone over to the Sky equipment when they'd unbundled.

Guess I'll have to wait and see.....
