      Downloading is now slow

      Hi all,

I have been getting very good speeds with Sky. the last 2 days i have been having problems, my downloads only run at 4-6kbps and time out more often than not.

Browsing the web is still fine. all the line tests i have done on the web are also coming back as very good connection.

so why are my downloads running so slow?

      Welcome to the site budgie654

It would be helpful if you could post some line stats from the router and explain more about what downloads you are talking about ie: web downloads torrents etc ?

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
