I should have connected to Sky Max yesterday (15th Dec). After lengthy phonecalls to both BT and Sky asking why i have no sync light on my router, it seems that there is a physical problem with the LLU at the junction. Being unable to get any solid information as to what will happen next, i was wondering if anyone more knowledgable than myself will have an idea as to how long it will take Sky to solve the problem (one PSE said five working days while another has said 3-6 weeks).
Please help peeps....

Welcome to the site Rogue_Trooper
Unfortunately its a problem that will need to be fixed by BT and Sky and all you can really do it hope it gets fixed asap, chances are its been the Openreach engineer that went to the exchange to switch you over that created the problem seems they do that quite a lot and they can fix it fast.Ray
Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
If you would like to know the straight line distance to your exchange then
Would you like an idea of the possible speeds you will get with the Max Package then click here or for the Connect Package then click here

Check out the My Experience thread for an idea of how long this can go on for. I think it's into ten pages and in it's third month now.

Jeez... i hold out little hope that this can be done before January, let alone December!
Considering its just the Tie Pairs (twelve in fact) that need replacing, it shouldnt take that long to fix the problem, but then both Sky and BT have been rather unhelpful. Cheers guys, and thanks Wheelie for the nice welcome.
