      still getting disconnected

      hi all....

      im still being disconnected from the internet...

      have done upnp , auto108meg and my noise margin is a healthy 11.5db..

      are there any other causes for the frequent line-drops?

      Could be one of several things:

      • faulty RJ11 cable or socket (phone or router) giving an intermittent connection
      • line or extension wiring fault giving intermittent noise bursts
      • faulty filter
      • overheating router
      • exchange fault

      etc

      Unfortunately, now you've excluded the most common reasons it's going to get harder to fix.

      ok , thanks saturday.

      will have a go at eliminating some of the others , and see what happens.
