Advice needed on migration from LLU to Sky

I'm about to jump ship from Plus.net - but unfortunately I'm on their LLU thing so its not as easy as just getting a MAC code...

I've put a cancel request in, and that is due to take place on 5 Jan.

My question is - is there anything I can start to do now with Sky to get the wheels in motion? Or do I have to wait until my service stops on 5 Jan before I can even call up to place my order?

I'm obviously keen to keep my downtime to an absolute minimum...

Sorry but untill there LLU is off your line there is nothing that SkyBB can or will do.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

Thats what I thought - thanks for confirming.

I guess I'm looking at a minimum 2 week downtime then...

That could be the case if you have a MAC call SkyBB as far as I know they will accept your order and put it on hold until you have a cleared line.

      Good luck
