      Just connected to Sky Connect....

It says I have to wait 10 days to see what my internet speed will be; at present it's saying 1.5mb??? but Connect is up to 8mb? BT's website says I'll get between 6.5 and 8 after the 10 day period...

now do I have to leave my modem on all that time? do I have to surf the web and start downloading big files?

Sorry I'm just not sure what I have to do now

      Welcome to the site x2srj

Yes you have to leave it on for at least 10 days as it has to train more info here

No you don't have to just do what you do normally

      Good luck

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
