      Sky 0800 number

It seems Sky have now stopped the 0800 051 2595 number as I seem to have been getting an engaged tone all day anyone else experienced this?

If they have I think it is a disgusting way of treating customers let alone gross exploitaition making customers pay a national rate number for support.

I think we should start a petition to get it reinstated

I've just used it for an update - works fine.

Just keep trying, I think they might limit the calls allowed through it. I spent 70 before finding out about the 0800 number. Last Saturday I was even put through to Tier 3 within minutes! Either the service is getting better or they are sick of seeing my number come up. Thank god for this forum otherwise I'd have taken out a second mortgage by now.

It not the first time this has been reported on here but it always seems to work again later.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
