      this is strange, we are on the same exchange, and i signed up before you, and you have an activation date earlier than mine.

      just had a look at installation CD, why do i have to keep the router plugged into the tel part of the filter?

      Will i be breaking any rules if i dont?

      You plug it in to the ADSL connection on the filter not the phone connection. There is a a second socet on the filter for the phone. This is only used if you connect a phone also.

      You can get that by going to http://www.whatismyip.com/ or log into the router and look at the Router Status it tells you in there IP Address xx.xx.xx.xx
