when will my exchange be LLU?

      Hi,
I'm trying to find when my local exchange will be UUL so I can get onto the standard sky packages and away from Connect..

I emailed Sky broadband support and they said they can't give out information on specific exchanges..

where can I find the info?

www.samknows.com is a good resource for broadband availability and the like, give it a whirl.

(it may not have specific dates for some exchanges, unfortunately)

hhm.. so does that mean that it's likely to happen within the next six months?

Reason I ask is that quite frankly- the Connect broadband pacakge is well... rubbish compared to my previous providers (BT and even Wandoo I had better service)..

So when I signed up I was told it would in my area in about six months.. therefore I signed up thinking this would be the case.

If it's not happeing in that time frame I'll be onto Sky to cancel as I've been sold something with mis-information...

Sky are working to LLU exchanges as fast as they can!
There are a total of around 5591 exchanges, Sky have unbundled 607 thats almost 11%!

      They will get there.. Soon!

yeah I know they ARE doing them.. my point is..
I was sold a product on the basis I would be getting the "better" product within six months..

Now is Samknows ain't saying what the date is.. that would imply to me that a date ain't been set yet for my exchange..

If there isn't a date.. that means it probably is years rather than months away...

      don't you think?

Samknows is not the be all and end all, though.

Samknows claimed my exchange, Godalming, was not Easynet LLU enabled ... Easynet and Sky (since they offered me Max) say it is.

UPDATE: Or rather, Samknows said it wasn't when I last looked last week. Just checked and it now says it is

      @jamesyboy

You will notice that there are NO unbundle dates on samknows for easynet. This does not mean that your exchange is not going to be done or will be years down the line - it simply means that there is not a public live date for any exchanges as far as easynet are concerned.
