ok not a problem.. so how do I find out??
I read another thread that gave out an easynet email that you could email and get the info, but then a reply said it wasn't working anymore..
then another post said try this "sky" email address for the answers..
I did that last night and got a reply saying they can't tell me when it's going to be enabled.
All the while, when I was on the phone to sign-up with Sky I was told it would be with me in six months...
so someone, somewhere in some company (hopefully with a contactable address) must know where I can get a date from???

Easynet for sure will know what their current rollout plans are, as will some people within sky.
As you say, a while ago you could email easynet to find out about individual exchanges, but this is no longer the case. Emailing Sky will not work either, as the emails go to (usually) either CS or TS, and not the backoffice bods who will probably know.
In short, you're just gonna have to wait like the rest of us on the Connect package.

that's not an option for me...
to be told catagorically "within six months" by the sky operator implies that either:
1) -They have the info
2) - were lying to get the sale.
Either way the data-shaping that's occuring on the connect package (which again I was not made aware of) is rendering my connection totazlly useless I use P2p networks and some self-built software on the same basis for my home working needs..
The connect package renders these totally useless in the current climate...
Whereas my previous connections with Wandoo and BT broadband never suffered these issue.
Therefore I need to know..
I know for the vast majority "sitting and waiting" is not a problem.. but for me..the connect package offers nothing useful..

I too was told 'within 6 months' back in August when I first ordered. As it would happen, my exchange is due to go live within the next 2 - 3 weeks. I know this as 1) I got the information from Easynet back when they would give the info out, & 2) I got chatting to an openreach engineer outside my exchange a few days ago.
So, on the surface of it, the within 6 months is happening for me. If I were you, either try and cancel if the service is not suitable for you or give sky their 6 months for you exchange to be enabled.
I cannot see any other way that you are gonna get the information you are after.

I was told "by Christmas" when I registered back in July. In fact my exchange was unbundled Nov 21.
