      Unhappy New activation date

Just got home from work and a letter was waiting for me from Sky asking me to contact them because there was a problem with my order. I have rang them and they say there is a "technical difficulty on my line" and they will call me back tomorrow with a new activation date. Has anyone else had the same problem or does anyone know what these "technical difficulties" are? I have asked Sky, but they don't know!

Someone on another Forum has reported that Sky told them the computer system between Sky and BT that puts the MAC codes through for an activation dates, keeps crashing and many bookings are being lost/cancelled.It means Sky are apparently working blind from their end regarding the status of many orders.
I had not heard this before so thought I would pass it on.
