As you know, MAC Codes only last around 30 Days, my MAC code has about 2 weeks left and I still cannot connect to sky. The problem is that there is a Data Fault at Sky's end and there is nothing I can do but wait. It has been 5 days since sky has known about the problem and the man in the call centre has no reason for why it hasn't been fixed. I asked him if he could find out when it would be fixed and he said that 'He cannot ring that certain department he can only email them' So have data fault affect any other users? Share your storys..

Have you signed up to Sky etc. & given them your MAC code previously?? If so don't worry about it expiring.
When you say you can't connect to Sky I'm assuming that you have your router etc. etc. & when you try to access the internet you get nothing
Maybe you could fill in a few of the gaps for us mate

Well I have given my MAC code to sky, but 2 days after this SKY cancelled my broadband (So i have recived no router/equipment whatsoever) because of a Data fault at their end. Now all i can do is wait and call the 0870 number everyday for status check

Ste, if I was you I would speak to your present ISP & explain the situation. Get them to cancel the migration process if possible & stay with them until Sky have resolved the issue.
Sorry if this isn't a lot of help but it's what I would do mate.

Data fault my ****!! Sounds like your details have either been incorrectly input or just simply vanished into the ether between of one of Sky's new fangled paperless paper systems and totally incompatible computer systems and BT!!
..............and don't waste your money on the 0870 number!!!!
Use the freephone number 0800 051 2595 instead and waste lots of theirs and insist insist on an answer!!!!
