Cheers guys, youve been a great help. It seems that the router may be up the razz too, sometimes it wont turn on until you leave it for a while, plus i cant allways 192.168.0.1 in, so theyre sending a new one. Hopefully... when it comes it should "just work". If not, its back to sky again..

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

No offense taken at all just paid by debit card over the phone, im really hoping its the router thats up the razz. Since being at a few houses before with other companies, i didnt know that there was some sort of signal that could be sent to the box., though i do remeber nildram sent a signal and the lights on the box went crazy to check for faults. If any other router is plugged in, it should get an internet signal (with the I light) but just not authenticate right? They do use the MAC adress somehow for authentication, but I assume it dosnt completely lock you out.

On the phone with support I asked if they knew the MAC adress of the my box was. In the router settings i noteced that the ADSL Port listed the MAC as being out by one number, LAN IP MAC was the one he said over the phone. This seems strange to me as I would have assumed that the ADSL port would be the one that maches the records they have for us.
