Question There is a problem with your Sky BB Order !

hi, ordered Sky Connect on 12th Nov and noticed that Sky had not debited my card for the 40 and then today received a letter from Sky saying that ''there is a problem with your broadband order''

I called and the operator said that a ''SPECIALIST TEAM'' would be notified that i had called and that THEY would call me back sometime in the next 48 hours.

Does anyone have an inkling what this problem would be and should i call them tomorrow as actually getting a call from them might be wishful thinking?

p.s im on BT Broadband 2meg and have been with them for 3 years

      THANKS

Called them this morning and after 28 minutes on the phone and with no acceptable answer as to why my original order failed i have re-ordered Sky Connect. Seems there is a lack of communication or notes on screen at the Sky call centre.

Hope it goes well this time

Rang back on Friday 24th November to check status of my order as i was suspicious that this one would fail too and i spoke to PROVISIONING and was informed that the standard (retail) agent had not processed my 2nd order properly.

Order is now showing on BT Order Tracking with activation date of 6th Dec.

My advice would be to definately confirm you order is being put through after a couple of days just to be sure.

12th November - Rang BT Broadand and obtained MAC Code instantly

12th November - Rang Sky Broadband Ordered SKY CONNECT

20th November - Rang Sky Broadband To Check Order Status
Agent Advised that first order had failed
      Re-ordered Sky Connect

24th November - Rang Sky Broadband To Check Order Status
Provisioning Agent advised 2nd order had failed
      Re-ordered Sky Connect (3rd time lucky ??)

28th November - Received Welcome Letter inc Username & Password

4th December - Rang Sky Broadband to locate Netgear Router
Provisioning agent seemed to think one had NOT been sent
      She re-ordered Netgear Router

6th December - BT BROADBAND service ends but NO SKY ROUTER....

Considering ringing Sky again to check Router delivery status but can't imagine they will provide a tracking code

My advice is once you order call them every couple of days to make
sure your order is progressing properly

6th December - Rang Sky Broadband Provisioning and the agent advised router order has been
processed and they are going to use PARCELINE to deliver and if I call back
Thurs/Fri they should be able to provide a tracking number... fingers crossed
