PS. I think you mean IP address not ISP address, unfortunately you can't change the thread title now.

if your not getting an ip address run a sky test (probably error 300)
assuming u have a internet light
theres a few things u can try
1 power off the broadband box for a minute and reconnect power supply check for a ip again
2 power off for an hour then reconnect and check again
then if neccesary u may have to conact sky to kill your session at the exchangechess a bunch of kings sit about as the pawns are sent to their death's , now if all the pawns got together maybe talked the rook's round

We have the same problem ourselves and rung sky on friday after the box turned up 2 days after connection.
We have a tier 2 call on our account as was told it could be up to 5 days before it is fixed. We are hoping and getting fed up with dial up
I take it back now - since writing this it has come online! hippee
Another edit - sky even rang me up to see if it was working.

No IP Address
This happened to me. My activation date was last Thursday, however their workflow / processes screwed up big time.
Phoned me on Wednesday to say my activation date was Thursday 16th Nov. Thursday comes and goes... no router. Contacted Sky and was informed that if no activation letter had been sent/received, it wouldn't trigger a router to be sent out. The Router was sent out and arrived with the activatation letter on Monday (letter posted dated back to the 15th Nov).
Plug router in, ADSL Sync light appears - but no IP address assigned and 'CHAP Authenticated Failed' appearing in router log.
Sky Provisions Response, to the problem (in brief detail):
Sky have two systems in place (presumbly BT eCo & Sky's own Workflow system of somesort e.g. BPM). The first system e.g. BT, reported the order was completed, however the second system e.g. presumbly Sky's own system - said the order was still in progress.
I was told to hang on in their as it isn't a major disaster and it will go live at somepoint in the next couple of days. The order at Sky is stuck at 'Work In Progress'. Give them a call if it doesn't work by Thursday. .
Tried this evening (Tuesday) and waahey... couldn't believe it, the Sky Broadband website loaded. Amazing.
Keep trying, it will go live - it's possibly like my issue. The Workflow at Sky hadn't caught up with BT's system and therefore I was like yourself, left in limpo.
Still can't login to the SkyBroadband website, as it keeps saying I don't have permission to use the service. Don't really care at the moment.
Recommend you contact Provisioning, I think it was option 1 & then option 3. When I've spoken to them, they have been very helpful.
