      Anyone experience this issue? Tie-pairs

Hi I have placed my sky tv on 30 day notice of cancellation due to the sloppyness of the Broadband product and recently received the email below. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts or experience of the problem they talk about?? If so any timescales for resolution?

"Thank you for contacting Broadband Technical Support, and I'm sorry to learn
of the troubles you have been experiencing, trying to get connected.

I have looked at the ticket, xxxxxx, in your account, and have updated it
with your email. The problem as it currently stands is that your 'Tie-pairs'
are unmatched. We have requested from BT to ensure that the 'Tie-cables' are
correctly configured. These also do not match our records, so this requires
confirmation from them also. This was raised by our Tier 2 team on the
      14/11/06.

Furthermore, this has been passed, and will be managed by Tier 3.

Although an update has been requested on your behalf, as we are waiting on a
third party (namely, BT) to complete some work, we are awaiting feedback and
confirmation from them, before Tier 3 can proceed to complete any remaining
      issues, at that point.

I apologise and appreciate your very understandable frustration at the
nature of this delay and thank you for your continuing patience in this
      matter.

      Regards,

      xxxxx
      Sky Broadband Technical."

Yep, i got that one too and was told 5 days to update their systems and 10 days to sort it out, and those are working days, so the end of the month for me. It does seem quite regular that people post about them on this site so you are not alone.
