Someone from Tier 3 DID call me back that evening, I was well shocked!! They said tests would be performed the following day by BT on the exchange, and it should be working by the following day - he assured me someone would call the following day to update me about whats happening.

And guess what, I havent heard jack since [that was a week ago]. Suppose I'm going to have to get on to them today (again).

Also, this is just weird. About a week and a half ago, I sent an email to Broadband Tech Support telling them that no-one was calling back and asking what to do next, and i received a reply a few days later from someone called 'Val' who told me that my Sky account had been closed and to get in touch with the accounts dept!!!!!!

I told the bloke who rang me last week about this and he said to ignore it. Anyone got any suggestions about whats going on????

Right i really need to get some work done now.

I've just called the 0800 number twice.

1st time, i got through to a girl who kept saying i'll have to call back when im at home, not at work, so more tests could be performed. I told her im sick of being told to call back or that people will call me back.

Then, after hanging up, I still wasn't happy. So I called again, talked to 'Bill' for a while and he put me on hold while he checked a few things because all my tickets were closed and i wanted to open another one. Then he came back and told me my connection had been ceased since 26th October!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I asked why this would happen and he said he didnt know, just an error by someone. Also, the amount of times i've called since then, ive been fobbed off. So he put me through to sales to re-activate, and he said i wouldnt have to pay again, but sales didnt know what i was going on about with the connection being ceased. After being left on hold, they told me that i will have to wait 5 days for my line to be cleard before ordering my package again. But that means i'll have to pay again doesnt it?????
