      Connection Speed

      Hi
only been connected a few days (16-Nov). Have checked my connection speed, like we all do and have been getting 2.8 download and 0.3 upload. I was expecting better. I am on the mid package upto 8MB.

      My stats are

      Down Up
Con speed 3040 kbps 416 kbps
      line atten 59db 31.5db
      Noise margin 8.3db 14db

Can anyone tell me if my speed test figures can be improved?

      thanks

Due to your line length its not going to be easy you may want to try this TCPOptimizer and maybe look at this

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
