stats look fine, downstream atten may be with the netgear bug though.

Your downstream attenuation is reading as 15.5db. This is due to a bug in the firmware. Reset your router (pull the power for a few seconds) and then re-post the stats here...

Firstly, i'm not too sure about the error 200 - i can't remember what exactly that means but other on here do..

With a downstream attenuation of 56db i would expect you to sync at around 4 - 5meg ish, especially with a high noise margin of 15.9

If you have the new style master socket (nte5) then try removing the faseplate and plugging the router directly into the test socket behind - see of that makes any difference. The other possibility is that your line has been capped at a lower rate for stability, but as you were only activated yesterday i would think it unlikely.

Try the test socket and let us know what you get then..

what i am having trouble with is not having no internet all together, the erro 200 is an authentication error. So what should i do cause i can't tell you what i get, or do you think it could be my socket?

the CHAP error, Is from Skys Side? Have you tried ringing them?

In computing, the Challenge-Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) authenticates a user to an Internet access provider.

i have rung them, and the bloke on the other end of the phone was a complete idiot, but i do give him his due, he did forward my problem straight onto tier 3. He told me to dissconnect first then run the sky test which gave me error 300, which i guess means that it is dissconnected, a little while latter i run the test again and got the error 200 back again.

Do you know if the 3-5days that they say it will take to fix my problem will include the weekend or not
