Sorry, I'm not perfect (you still haven't answered my question as to whether that constitutes good service, which seems more pertinent than whether I am good at telling a story).

As it happens I explained that fact earlier in the thread. I wasn't going to point that out but as you seem keen to point out my inadequacies....

As for Psycho, you don't sound like you live up to your name :-)
Either that or you work for Sky. I am amazed you can simply accept waiting an hour and a half to speak to someone, as if they are doing you a favour! Surely one of the aims of these forums is to point out how badly Sky are doing in certain areas, to put pressure on them to improve. They are not going to do anything if everyone says "yeah, it takes an hour and a half to get a call answered but life is tough!"

Clearly this is not the place to get sympathy for receiving apalling service (or even acknowledgement that the service is poor). Perhaps vnunet.com is a better place to air grievances. I commend the Sky staff who have joined this forum to help answer queries & apologise for poor service; but I would hate to think Sky have sent people here to try to paint a better picture than really exists, or to make unreasonable levels of service sound acceptable.

      Abrasive aren't you?

I suspect, like most people, I don't reread the complete thread every time there's a new post. Why you presume I should remember what you'd written two days ago, I don't know.

I'm beginning to have some idea why you got the runaround from a CS agent.

Thing is mate I was making a simple statement, if you want to speak to them don't hang up. You admitted that you waited an hour so why not wait 2?

Difference between me & you is that I've spoken to them twice & as yet you haven't so go figure who may get their problem resolved first.

I never said the situation was ideal & if you want to trawl through my posts you'll see that I've had plenty to say about the matter elsewhere.

I think the customer service stinks but at the present rate of sign ups Sky are going to do jack about changing it.

Anyway, if you want to rant & rave to Sky then go for it. I just don't think it will get you far to be honest

its 5 days, we do the oldest ones first and those that have waited longer in rare cases.

      ps.

"but I would hate to think Sky have sent people here to try to paint a better picture than really exists, or to make unreasonable levels of service sound acceptable."

Not true, those of here risk our jobs simply for helping.
