    Tier 3 information

      The tone test is basically, sky send a tone from there equipment in the exchange onto the line and down your phone.

      If you hear the tone, yes your connected to skys equipment. If not then you are not connected.

      Maybe worth chasing up.

      there is no t2 or t3 only CST

      Erm no they didn't. Tier 1 is a separate entity completely from CST, Tier 2 and 3 were combined to create CST a while back.

      I finally got through to CST at about 1am weekday after 40 mins on hold. Got a nice Scottish gentleman called Alan who was according to his reckoning one of two people on duty that night who could tinker with profiles. He spent about 15 minutes fine tuning my connection up to the full 8MB...

      I emailed tech support and it took 9days to email back. I think it is easier to ring sky up, but when i have a real issue, it never really gets solved.

      yeah hes right t2 and t3 were combined into cst tier 1 are separate in that they are the ones that create the hd2 tickets for cst
