Question BT View your Landline Order

I am due to be activated for SKy BB on 20th November, but When I log onto BT.Com small Business and click on the order for more information I get the error

      Order tracking: Landline orders

"We weren't able to retrieve your order information. This could be a temporary system issue, please try again later".

This has been the result throughout the last 7 days and I am wondering whether there is a problem with the actual order. Can anyone confirm whether their own provide LLU orders were un-available throughout the 10 day lead in to activation

      Thanks in advance

      Bob

I could view mine, but got that error when ever I tried to view the detail! That continued until the order was completed on time!

Thnks for your reply. I am relieved to hear that the error is not fatal to the order being completed on time!

Just got to get the router which Parceline are delivering at the third attempt on Saturday (but only after I paid 11.75 for special delivery at the week-end).

      Bob75,

I'd give Sky a ring to see what, if anything is happening.

My 'activation date' was the 15th Nov but when I phoned Sky on the 16th I was told my order had been cancelled on the 7th Nov due to the MAC being entered in lowercase and therefore rejected by BT.

You will hear a recorded message saying "if you are calling before your activation date then SOD OFF " (or something along those lines) but just hang on anyway.

      Good luck.

initially i could not view the details on the BT order page but a eventually it did show the information - it also said the work on the line was completed the day before sky said it would

i couldn't check if the line was active though as my router was not delivered until the day after the activation date thanks to interlink express (aka parceline)

My activation date is 17th November and BT Order Tracker has always said the same.

      Thumbs down

Were you activated on the 17th? I was supposed to be but nothing yet.
My letter did say to allow an additional 3 days as they are really busy

How long should it typically take to appear on the BT checker? I originally ordered Sky BB about 8 days ago, saw no sign of it all week on there only to receive a MAC code rejected letter on Friday. Sky re-sent the MAC code again about 6pm on Friday so should it 100% appear there tomorrow if the code has been accepted?
