      New house

      Hi ive moved to a new house that had virgin but having my sky box and fibre hub installed on thurs the house is wired up for ethernet (may have been done by virgin)as it has sockets in a few rooms how do i connect my hub so i can use the sockets if its possible

      It depends on how it is wired. Are the ethernet ports connected to a switch? If so it would be a simple matter of connecting your router to the switch.

      My parents have a new(ish) build which had ethernet cables in the walls to every room, however not all rooms were connected. You should get your screwdrivers and ladders out in advance (or call an electrician) to ensure the right rooms are connected up to everything from the primary network location (in their case a "media room" in a downstairs cupboard).
      It's fairly easy DIY job if you've ever "ethernet-ed" anything before.
