As far as I know with plusnet you have to do it on their portal, via your member control panel.

You could ring them to check though 0845 1400200 however their waiting times on the phone are just as bad.

I went through their Help and support question portal.

There is a link there, although as I remember it is quite buried - even so a follow these steps:

Help & Support - (Help assistant) - Customer services billing (account management) - request a Mac key

      Plus.net Portal

When I was with Plus.net back earlier this year, it was via the Portal. However as previously stated, you should be able to request your MAC via the Portal's 'Contact Us' system.

However, Plus.net were quite good about responding to mine. I had my MAC in less than an hour (back in April 06). They never use to provide MACs by the phone, so I doubt you will have much luck their.

Rumour has it, they are offering a free month's rental if you stay, so what you should do is accept and then request next month

I requested mine a few days ago using the help message centre thingy, couldn't be bothered to wait ages cos i know they are slow, and I wanted to switch ASAP.

Ended up phoning them up, don't bothered trying to follow the number options round just choose ones that will get you talking to a human, even if your lying, then wen u get thru, ask. When I did, he sed he would put it in my member service bit, and he did straight away
