    switching off router

    This is a discussion on switching off router within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; after almost 2 months on connect 8mb things seem to have been great for the last 3 weeks or so, ...

      switching off router

      after almost 2 months on connect 8mb things seem to have been great for the last 3 weeks or so, this was after a very shaky start.
      this friday i am off to tenerife for 3 weeks so my router will be shut down.
      when i get back will everything be ok, or will i have to go through the training period again

      The Maximum Stable Rate and the Fault Threshold Rate are fixed after the initial 10 days training.

      A new training period can only be triggered by "BT Wholesale BB Assurance". Turning it off for 3 weeks won't do that.
