I am about to be connected to the max package tomorrow according to Sky, so rang BT to check what order is on my line. The kind BT lady told me there is "line splitter" request from easynet which can be used to connect Sky users, but no request for broadband. Could someone tell me if this is normal and what is line splitter.

Welcome to the site and all that.
I think you're getting so few replies because the title of the thread makes it look like someone pratting about.
Anyway, That sounds about right from BT. They are just supplying a feed to Sky's Internet equipment. There's an on-line order tracker
but you need to register. If it says provide LLU LINE SHARE PSTN on the order details then it's the right thing.

Sky need to enable your port but that can happen any time, probably even before BT do the wiring. They say to wait 3 days but if it isn't working tomorrow, phone them anyway, they should be able to tell you whether you should be live.
