      great apart from dropped connections

got connected last wednesday, 1 week earlier than expected, easy set up of router, configuring outlook express was fairly smooth apart from adding an extra mail recipiant, but sorted now, speeds seem ok (mid package) its just the damn connection drops, though today have been less frequent, all in all i am happy with the whole migration process, i did expect some teething problems, but what do you expect for 5.00 a month.

      Welcome to the site soreeyes

Please to see you are happy with the way it went apart from the connection drops which do seem to be a pain for a lot of people, have you had a look at some of the suggestions in the Sky Router (Netgear DG834GT) forum they could help.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

Plenty of room for improvement there!

Can I suggest you have a read of this:

      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=5969

and then scan through the cabling and faceplate help forum.

You'll almost certainly benefit from improving the filtering on your line - testing your connection via the test socket should confirm this.
