    horrible skype line

      horrible skype line

      hello!
      I talk alot in skype and the line is horrible
      is there any particular reason for this?
      how can I fix it?

      The quality of video chat with Skype depends on a few factors. The main ones that I can think of are:


      1. Your connection speed (up and down)
      2. Any other traffic going on at the same time
      3. The quality of the computer connection to your router (i.e. if WiFi, are you using WiFi g at a distance?)
      4. The quality of the camera used by the computer
      5. Lighting


      Duplicate all that for the person at the other end.

      We may be able to offer advice with them, such as how to improve the connection speed if this is possible.

      By all means please post details of which device (phone, tablet, laptop or PC) that you are using too. Also, if you are connecting via WiFi, what the connection speed if if you are able to find this out.

      As for lighting, basically most web cams struggle in poor light. This might be adding to your issues.
