      WooHOOO!!!

My other half texted me at half one to let me know we have SKY BROADBAND!!!!!!

He says it seems really fast, but all he really does is surf. I will run a test later on when I get home. I am so excited!

      A further update.

I had expressed a little dissapointment at my speed: it being a fair bit lower than most predidictors indicated, so I looked around a few sites, I am new to adsl and wanted to understand why I had got such dissapointing speeds!

Well I have just tested my connection via the test socket in my master socket, and doubled my speed!!!!

      Yay me!

Now connected at 7578 kbps rather than the 3800 previously. I feel some re-wiring coming on!

Great news hugsie if I was you I would get a faceplate for the master socket and do away with the silly little hanging filter and plug your router straight into that, I have faceplate's on all the phone points in my house
