      From Connect to Max

So i've just got off the phone with Sky, i used the 0800 051 2595 number.

The guy asked me if i knew what my line could handle, said it should be 12mb+.

He proceeded to upgrade my account and said the upgrade should be completed within 3 working days.

My question is, will anything show on my BT order tracking regarding this? Just so i know it's gone through.

I'm looking forward to the increased upload and 7 per month saving.

The change from IPStream (Connect) to LLU (Max) should appear on the BT order tracker as something like LLU Line Share. I cannot remember the exact phrase used tho..

      Good luck with the upgrade

According to the SamKnows website, my exchange (Cumbernauld, WSCUM) had EasyNet LLU enabled on 2nd November 2006.

Since i'm currently on the Connect package since i moved over in September, what happens to get me over to the "proper" package? Is it automatic? or do i need to contact Sky?

      Any ideas?

Sky say that they will automatically move you over the the Mid package from connect when your exchange is enabled. I would however give them a call and try and move over yourself.

It's at least worth a try!

      Exactly

The guy didn't seem to know whether i should have been automatically moved or not, but said it allowed him to place the 'upgrade' manually.

I am on the connect package and wondering when the upgrade will happen. Looked at the samknows site and it says my exchange is LLU enabled but Easynet not enabled for local loop unbundling. Presumably I'm waiting on the admin between bt and easynet to complete? Anyone know the process and timescale? thanks

Just got off the phone using the 0800 number above.

Allegedly, although samknows says that LLU Easynet was enabled at start of november (2nd) there may still be tests ongoing.

According to CS, i'll automatically be moved over to the MID package and notified via mail when this occurs, at which point I can phone up and ask to be moved to the MAX package.

      Fingers crossed its that easy....

There's nothing showing on the BT order tracker as of yet.
