Yes, but only with the old sagem 2504 (not the N version).
2504n router - new firmware killed port forwarding?

Firmware updates do traditionally reset most stats, although it's only recently that sky updates have been fully resettlng routers to default.
IPV6 compatibility may be a factor.

Also reset the login details which is not clever either ...frustrating..an email would have been nice advising of update BEFORE the actual update to prepare etc .... advise you to change login details for security reasons then wipe it back to default After update..priceless ...

This is why it is prudent to keep an up to date backup of your router settings.

yes I agree .... I think it also prudent that sky maybe should have informed it's paying customers of the consequences of the auto update.... I wonder how many people as suggested changed their user name and password on the router to make it more secure and are blissfully unaware the latest firmware update has reset it to the default username and password creating a security vulnerability .

An email from sky would have been no hardship ,I mean they constantly bombard you with marketing stuff to upgrade your package .....via email post TV adverts ....

Re: New Auto Firmware update on SR101 wiped all port forward info and more

Well, my SR101 got stuck in a reboot loop after the update a couple of weeks ago - had to do a factory reset to get it to work. I guess that's why they're forcing a full reset.

I don't think everyone is effected by this. For instance I have been updated several times and not once has the router reset. I agree Sky should advise when an update is due.
