And don't believe the BT tracker, it says my "provide llu line share" worked but it didn't.
That one's on, but I'm synced to a 2Mb "regular" ADSL line and the Sky router isn't authenticating.

Looks like BT's LLU LINE SHARE didn't happen on my line either. Logged with Sky last Friday but been told not to expect any call back before this Friday.

Another one in the same boat as me.

As they say in Jaws, "We're going to need a bigger boat."

Any suggestions for a decent dial-up service? I really miss those days....

      I'm with Fast 4.

      No frills, cheap unlimited.

If you've not used dialup for a while you're in for a shock.

By the way unplug the DSL router and you seem to get better dialup speeds - no idea why, you just do.

Shock? Surely it can't be that slow?!!

Actually my Pipex BB connection is still online, so I'm OK at the moment!

Since I last used dial up, web pages have grown a lot.

When did you last see a text only option on a web site?

I guess it depends on the web site you visit....

My IPStream Cease happened yesterday (according to BT), but I'm still on Pipex. Probably because they moved me over to their ADSL2+ LLU connection the day before the supposed move to Sky's LLU hardware.

      Ho hum....
