External hard Drives (SEAGATE Central (NAS) 2TB unit).

I have a Sky Hub. I recently investing in an I-pad Air2. Since then I have heavily researched external hard drives. I finally purchased a SEAGATE CENTRAL (NAS)2TB unit. After following the instrcutions; downloading Discover Bonjour browser. I cannot locate the external hard drive anywhere on my I-pad.
My questions are: Is this being blocked by the Sky Hub? If so how do I unblock it? A simple process guide would be great as I am a very basic user of computers and don't understand all the abbreviations.

      Please help. Very frustrated.

Re: External hard Drives (SEAGATE Central (NAS) 2TB unit).

I have a 3TB Western Digital NAS I can browse fine on my iPad. I use it for streaming movies and photos. You need to download a DNLA app or a good file browser to access. I use Twonky. I can see the files on my NAS and watch on the iPad, or throw them to my smart TV. VLC video player is also good for watching movies stored on your NAS.
