      Qestion about upload speed

      Can anyone please explain why my upload speed was around 1.2Mb but now will not go above around 992Kbps, I have been in contact with CST but was unable to get it to connect back at this speed.

      Connection Speed 12978 kbps 992 kbps
      Line Attenuation 42.0 db 18.5 db
      Noise Margin 8.00 db 14.0 db

      Looking at a previous post of yours, the connection speeds look fine:

      Sure the downstream has dropped a little, this I would suggest is linked to the increase in the Noise Margin.

      If the noise margin has increased, then it sounds like there is a minor issue on the line somewhere. It could be down to the change in the weather (rain) we've had recently or perhaps an issue developing with some lights nearby.
