      Odd connection problem

      Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm on the Sky Connect package, which usually works fine and I usually get speeds of around 5Mb. However, occasionally I find I can't connect to any new websites or servers. By new I mean any that I am not already connected to. I can continue to browse sites that I have already opened or continue talking on IRC so it's not a case of my net connection going down completely. Resetting the router doesn't seem to solve this problem and I've tried disabling UPnP and changing the MTU size.

Any suggestions before I try my luck calling Sky?

      try making sure that

"proxies are not ticked in your broswer"
      and try
renewing you ip/connection from the computer?

see if that makes a difference?

Also there was no-need for you bumping your thread it was only posted 11am?
