      Why am i on Connect?

      Hi,
Joined Sky around 2 weeks ago on the connect package as sky said LLU had not reached me yet and should be done in November. But according to Samknows my exchange (Carlisle) has been enabled since 2003, so does anyone why sky have put me on connect if i'm able to get the mid package i want?

Just because your exchange is LLUed it does not mean that there are free slots available. It could be that their equipment is fully loaded and the are awaiting more slots in the exchange to be installed.

They told me when i placed my order they are waiting for more slots to be enabled alhough at first they said max wasn't in carlisle till i query'd that! Also they said all customers on connect will be moved onto the new slots before any new customers coming on, i need the faster upload so lets hope they don't drag their feet which i bet they will do!

Thanks for that, lets hope they actually tell us when we get moved so we can save the extra 7/12/17!

of course they will drag their feet... on connect you pay 17, for the same service on LLU (think its mid) you pay 10, sky want the extra 7 dont they, I know if I was sky i would want it.

I doubt sky get much of the extra. I'd expect BT have a fair slice of it.
