Slow page loading times

if you are experiencing unusually slow loading times on web pages (not just one or two sites but all) could you please post here your exchange, package and the first 3 parts of your ip (90.192.20.***) please then we can see if there is a common dominator

THIS IS FOR SLOW WEB LOADING TIMES ONLY AND NOT FOR SLOW DOWNLOAD SPEEDS.

thank you
Glenn

3 responses so far, all are connect package users. Co-incidence?

I've just come here to see if I can compare some ping and tracert times because lately my page loads have become sluggish.

It's not down to a drop in bandwidth/brute speed because my download speed tests remain consistent at 5.1Mbps.

But when going onto sites like Amazon and eBay with lotas of small pictures I'm starting to see pages build up quite slowly - with a noticeable gap between each image as it appears.

Given my speed tests I don't think it is down to bandwidth - more likely spikey pings/latency.

I don't have my IP address as I'm at work now - will provide when I get home this evening.

There is a useful free tool called WinMtr which does repeated traceroutes and collects simple stats (min, max and avg) for each hop.

Cheers,

Nigel
PS: I'm on the MID package

UPDATE:: IP is 90.194.239.*
