Slow page loading times

Exchange - Horsham
Package - Mid
IP address - 90.217.69.xxx

Only been on Sky for 3 weeks but pleased so far within the limitations of a long line to the exchange. I have, however, noticed that many web pages have been taking a long time to load or even have to be refreshed. Having read the excellent suggestions on this thread I've changed my DNS settings to the OpenDNS ones and so far there's been a definite improvement. Thanks guys!

Cheers Isitme. Tried the test socket, and my connection speed is up to 5Mb, which is what my line should be doing considering I'm a little over a kilometer from the exchange. Going to give it a few hours and see if the IP profile rights itself. Going to have to look into rewiring the house then, because even before this started happening we'd only be getting 2/3Mb.
