I recently got my line activated, only 28 days late, but was surprised when I couldn't access a lot of web sites, including www.sky.com, www.multimap.com, www.leeds.ac.uk and lots of others. Google Earth also coudn't find it's server. Some sites are sometimes, but not always, slow, www.google.com for instance where tracert shows timeouts between easynet servers when searching for the address. It is always the same sites I can't access, it seems there are some I can always get to and some I can never get to.
My IP is in the 90.194 block. I have contacted Sky, been through all the usual tier 1 tests and was passed to tier 2 who actually called me back almost daily for a while but with no success yet.
My router is back on Sky default settings, I have no antivirus or firewall software at the moment and I have tried turning off the router for 24 hours to get a new IP address.
If I use the torpark browser then I can access all the sites with no problem, except that it's slow and doesn't preserve the history. I asume by doing this I am bypassing the Sky DNS servers as well as changing the IP range. If I use any other connection a trace route always shows the connection timing out between easynet servers.
Yesterday Google Earth started working but everything else still throws up DNS or server errors. It seems strange that my ISP can't ping the IP address they allocated me.
If anyone has any thoughts I would be interested to hear them.

i think this is a known issue with sky at the moment, reason being is that IP range that sky uses. Dont think they have been distributed around fully yet. Not 100% sure about this but thats what i have head, maybe another member can enlighten us on this.
