      i,

I've just had sky broadband installed.
      I got a black router.
Have connected it to the phone line and it's giving me a current speed of around 3.5mb.
That is less that what Sky originally said.

I understand that over the next 10 days the speed should slowly increase and that I should make sure not to turn off or disconnect the router in this time. However it used to be that this was a stable speed issue not we start you off with a snail.

Is there any way to estimate the speed it should be at within two weeks?
      Router stats are posted below.

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

No it isn't possibly to accurately predict the final speed from the current figures but broadly, with the healthy noise margin and reasonable attenuation you have you should see a big increase in several instalments well before the 10 days is up. Your line's theoretical maximum sync (based on the attenuation) is up around the 18meg mark. The actual speed you finally get will depend on your line condition which includes your home wiring and the line from you to the exchange.

Sky will have given you an estimate when you ordered. That is usually on the low side.
