Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

yep, same. id rather be online with sky now.

hope the problem doesnt get dragged out too long, 512k feels like im back on 56k!

just to add, i did a scan for other wireless networks, saw another sky user in the area, cant be more than a 1-2 doors away as it was a good signal.
      hope their connection is ok.

I would go knock on a few doors to see, but then I am not backwards in going forwards

got through to tier 3, in about 10mins, amazing, trying to sort it out now, lets hope its sorted quick as he said looks like the problem can be sorted from there.

edit 1: noo! im on hold... and the music isnt any good.

oh dear, oh dear, reminds me of chucklevision, to me, to you.

still no connection, getting put down to 8mb to see if it will make any difference. doubt it will as there is no connection there...

      and i want 14mb

      ive got tier 3 stumped!

nothing they could do from their end and have arrange a visit to my exchange with an engineer from sky and bt to work on the problem.

thats something at least, but still leaves me with about 5 days of no broadband.

definatly think bt jumpered me wrong in the exchange. if only my dad was allowed in the exchange to work on it or get his mates to sort it. it could have sorted it out! he works in another exchange.
