Unfortunately as is with large organisations, knowledge is compartmentalised - essentially one needs to navigate to the correct department to get the necessary detailed information. I bet the sales people could tell you about all the current offers (and the broadband support couldn't)!!

I generally find that calling weekdays mornings, if possible, is much more quiet so getting through is easier and the agents have a little more time to go through issues.

atm i cannot, or i suppose will not, call. my sky phone lines dead and i refuse to pay to call them from my mobile so im limited to their online chat.

tbh what i expect shall happen is that nothing will be done, theyll keep me where i am untill the contract expires (its dirt cheap) and assuming they wont give me such a low a price i shall just leave. im currently only paying 7.50 so i am getting what i pay for.

When you're on chat explain your phone line is dead and ask them to call you on your mobile.
